Parking and Automated Payment Management System

The car is an integral part of our modern life. And every year the number of vehicles is growing, and, as a result, the need for modern parking spaces is increasing.

Your potential daily loss (depending on the amount of parking) when a customer cannot park or does not pay for parking at your warehouse or office is between €50 and €483*. We can put an end to this with the ALPR technology applied in Parking Space within 1-2 weeks if you have a parking space.

*(calculated based on the average of operating paid parking lots in the European Union, actual daily costs will depend on the nature, size and location of the business)

Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR), also known as License Plate Recognition (LPR), is a technology that reads vehicle registration plates. ALPR is widely used throughout the world by agencies such as the police, traffic management services, and parking management services.

Automated parking is a car park or parking lot equipped with an automation system that controls entry and exit, calculates the cost of parking at the current rate and collects payment. Such a system makes parking comfortable and safe for users, provides the owner with control over cash flows and eliminates abuse by staff and customers. This is a complex of modern hardware and software that allows you to automate all processes in paid parking.

Why automate parking?

The subject of automation can be both a small parking lot for 20-30 parking spaces, and a large parking lot for several thousand places with high traffic intensity. System requirements depend on scale, location, traffic, average usage time, key users and many other factors. How to automate this or that object, what equipment to choose and how to install it, how to organize a car traffic pattern. All these issues should be addressed at the stage of pre-project research and in the design process. The successful functioning of automated paid parking in the future, its economic efficiency as a business, largely depends on the professional conduct of these works and a detailed study of the object.

Automated parking ParkingSpace

Our company has implemented the Parking Space system, which offers advanced automatic license plate recognition (ANPR) systems, ensuring the safe operation of your car park 24/7 with reduced operating costs for your business.

Our ALPR system is designed to help maximize available space, increase parking or store revenue, and increase customer satisfaction, while accumulating valuable data on customer and staff parking habits to continually improve parking functionality and flow. Not to mention, our parking management systems record highly accurate vehicle license plate readings without any human intervention.

Through the use of innovative high-speed image capture technology that supports night lighting and character detection in the provided image, we are able to store information about any car or vehicle that passes through your parking lot in accordance with GDPR requirements. By eliminating the possibility of human error, you can ensure that your private parking rules are enforced around the clock, especially if access to it is restricted by barriers or gates.

Barriers are a more traditional means of preventing vehicles from entering/leaving your property. If they are already in place, they can be integrated with ANPR technology or we will install them. This will allow you to register license plates and automate the raising/lowering of the barrier along with payment based on length of stay. This can help extend their lifespan and save your investment.

The Parking Space product is an efficient parking management system that will take your parking or tasks of automatic control and effective management of the use of parking spaces to a new modern level. The system helps to solve the problems of automatic control and efficient management of the use of parking spaces. It also contributes to the quick service of drivers and the improvement of the traffic safety of vehicle flows in paid parking lots and on exits to the roads.

Parking Space is a complex of special equipment designed to replace attendants at a paid parking lot. Automated parking will ensure the entry and exit of vehicles, record free spaces and be able to perform a number of specific functions, the total number of which depends on the modification of the equipment.

We can also offer a solar powered system. In addition to many environmental benefits, this also means that access to a mains power source is not required.

The system has a convenient platform that allows you to accept and process payments. The Parking Space payment module allows you to register a car park user (vehicle number, phone number), pay with Visa, Master Card and GooglePay, ApplePay cards. The cost of using the module is 7% from each transaction. The cost also includes 24/7 user support service, maintenance of Parking Space system devices, recommendations for drawing up parking rules, installation of warning signs. The payment from the Client to the Parking Customer is made through an accredited financial company to the account of the Parking Customer and amounts to 2.5% of the transaction amount. The Parking Customer interface allows you to control the time and amount of transactions, the amount of deductions for using the Parking Space payment module. Payment is made to the account of the company accompanying Parking Space based on the results of transactions for the calendar month.

Customer access to system management via Internet browser. Internet connection required. The owner can receive real-time data through a secure client web portal. These reports give insight into your customer base and their behavior. This data is invaluable and can help you make better business decisions.

The payment service does not store customer card data. All payments are made by the financial partner (payment service) FONDY.

Automated ALPR parking has a simple, economical and reliable system that can be tailored to both facility specifications and business requirements.

What do we offer

Parking Space is a new parking system that works without paper tickets or plastic cards. The development of new technologies has allowed us to create a latest generation system that uses digital means for access and payment. Tools such as ANPR camera, license plate, mobile phone or QR codes. This allows the system to operate without most of the equipment that is normally required, and thus provide complete control over every vehicle parked at your facility.

Currently, many car parks only require personnel to install and configure it to make it work. Parking Space is a system that works autonomously, allowing you to run your business 24 hours a day without stopping 365 days a year.

You'll get:

And more business benefits from using cameras

24 hour monitoring

ALPR cameras, like conventional security cameras, constantly monitor everyone who comes and goes. While we do not provide 24 hour recording as standard, it can be implemented. And then, if necessary, delivered to the police on request, which provides you with an additional layer of security.

Reduction in administration

A huge resource and financial expense for many private parking owners is the administration involved in processing and managing complaints, as well as dealing with unauthorized users. ALPR provides irrefutable evidence to support your case when suing an unauthorized user or making an unfair complaint from another customer. By providing this evidence-based assistance, ANPR can reduce the time and money spent on these previously difficult cases.

Help with investigations

As we have already mentioned, technology is very useful in controversial issues. It serves as evidence and provides valuable information that can be used in an investigation. Records collected by ALPR can be used as sources of information in incident data, providing snapshots to determine where and when a suspect vehicle drove.

Data analysis

Information from a parking program, including from cameras, can also contribute to continuous business improvement. Backed by data experts, camera footage can provide deep insights into user behavior, enabling better decision making. Data analysis takes into account aspects such as length of stay, vehicle trends, Parking Fee Notice, infrastructure requirements, and more. In addition, aggregated productivity comparators, both within a single sector and across industries, can be analyzed for benchmarking purposes.

Provided that it is well implemented and carefully managed, the camera can play a role in providing various business opportunities. The use of cameras and their data-driven approach can drive significant revenue growth and operational learning. From what you've learned, a range of flexible services can be developed to meet the needs of your customers or customers' business to add value to their parking offering. It is at this point that you can turn parking into a business asset.

Increasing income

Taking advantage of technology is a great way to maximize your bottom line. When drivers enter the parking lot, the camera tracks the registration number, which can then be used to optimize on-site parking performance for maximum profit.

For example, next-generation payment machines can be fully integrated with powerful ALPR data to match vehicle data entered to reduce manual entry errors. This not only provides the motorist with confidence and an easy-to-use system, but also allows the landowner to control the length of stay and whether they have paid or not.

ALPR can also support cloud-based pre-booking and pre-payment platforms, where cameras recognize a registered vehicle upon entry and exit, creating a completely free parking environment without the need for on-site payment at all. This is extremely useful in high traffic areas. Customer service is also much better without any hassle, without having to look for payment machines before or after parking; just drive in and out and let the ALPR cameras do the rest.

System Composition

A barrier, a scoreboard, a smartphone, a switch, a tablet and a computer are familiar things and do not require explanation. But the camera, yes. ALPR works with cameras specifically designed to detect the license plates of vehicles entering and exiting a parking lot.

These cameras use high-tech algorithms to ensure that factors such as angles and perspective, mirrored and special license plates, and plate detail configuration changes do not affect the ability to scan and decipher each vehicle number. In addition, they use infrared technology for low light levels, allowing you to take pictures at any time of the day or night.

AL PR cameras are typically placed at the entrances and/or exits of car parks. There is no hard and fast rule for camera placement as long as it allows a clear and unobstructed view of the vehicle's license plate. This can be achieved by attaching them high up on a wall or pole, as well as at license plate level, about 50 cm from the ground.

All these elements make up a single complex that ensures the operation of automated parking. The equipment must work reliably 24 hours a day in the open air in difficult climatic conditions of heat and frost. This makes extremely high demands on its performance, security, climate control systems and performance levels in general.

Benefits of using:

How it works on the example of parking:

You can control the Parking Space system (Windows or Linux platform) via a web interface (use from a phone, tablet, computer) with the ability to separate access levels for the administrator, owner or operator, or using cameras on which the ANPR software is installed (fix arrival and departure of vehicles).

How the camera detection system works?

Cameras are installed, information from which enters the system, after confirming access to the barrier control and management module and recognizing the number plate, the car is granted access to the parking lot. Check-in status can be additionally confirmed to open a parking session (additional entry control, crossing the line behind the barrier to confirm parking).

Before the car leaves the parking lot, information about the vehicle number, parking time and the amount to be paid is transmitted to the operator's workplace.

If the time of stay does not exceed a certain free period (for example, 15 minutes), the barrier will open automatically at the exit. If the time limit for free parking was exceeded, you will need to pay for parking one of the ways:

After the payment is made, the parking session is closed and the car can leave the parking lot. The data is stored in the parking history on the CPS program server for further administration.

You can easily add emergency, police, ambulance, service or employee license plates and they will be allowed into the area automatically. Also, it is possible to restrict / allow access according to the list.

"Black List" ("Prohibited"). The parking automation system will not allow a vehicle whose license plate number matches the one on the above list to pass and will not allow you to leave the parking lot. The supervising operator will be alerted.

"White list". The parking automation system will let the vehicle through without charging and taking into account the parking time.

All data is exported in XLS format, which can then be added to any system (perhaps as a CSV file) for further processing.

All the necessary analytics in one place

The system allows collecting and processing data for further statistical processing. You can easily control the number of cars, what time they were parked and for how long, how much they paid and how. The system remembers the time of arrival and departure, car number, parking cost.
